“Trans Scripts drags heart and vulnerability into the room with every syllable. This team of badass ladies breathe in the fears, prejudices, pain, and lies surrounding the experience of transitioning and breathe out connection, compassion, humour, and humanity. This show is a salve in a burning world.” –Vancouver Presents

“the most amazing thing is the way the performers—almost all of them nonactors—own the stories they tell….By the time the show ended, they felt like friends, confidantes, and probably the bravest people you’ve ever met.” –The Georgia Straight

Trans Scripts centres on the lives of seven transgender women. These true stories, compiled from over 70 interviews from around the world, are honest, funny, moving, insightful and inspiring. But most of all, they are human, shedding light not on our differences, but on what all people share.
